Pulmonology Clinic

At UCSF's Pediatric Pulmonology Clinic, we care for children with all types of lung disorders and breathing problems, from acute to chronic, common to rare. Because of the wide range of respiratory health problems we see, our team of pediatric pulmonologists and otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat specialists) work together to evaluate each patient and develop a treatment plan.

We also offer state-of-the-art lung function testing for children of all ages. Our doctors are experienced in pediatric bronchoscopy, an examination that is useful in diagnosing many serious respiratory disorders. In addition to the general pulmonology clinic, we have specialized clinics dedicated to serving children who have specific respiratory disorders like asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep apnea and respiratory syncytial virus. For complex cases, our comprehensive Pulmonary Function Laboratory provides advanced pulmonary function testing using minimally invasive procedures designed to ease your child's fears and discomforts.

We're committed to helping your child – and you – breathe easier.
