Jessica Manning is a social worker who cares for pediatric patients receiving bone marrow transplants. She conducts psychosocial assessments with patients and their families, and coordinates their transition into the bone marrow transplant program as well as their discharge home.She also provides emotional support, advocacy, resource referrals and crisis interventions while assessing safety in the patient's home, environment and relationships. In addition, she provides support for patients and their families around end-of-life decision making as well as bereavement support to families.
Manning earned her master's degree in social welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
