Martha French

Family nurse practitioner
Martha French is a nurse practitioner with a special interest in providing holistic, compassionate care to patients who have recently been hospitalized or treated in the emergency department, as well as those with complex medical conditions. She works as part of a collaborative team that includes social workers and health care navigators, with the goal of providing these patients with an extra level of support.
French's research interests include developing successful strategies to care for patients with complex medical issues.
After completing her bachelor's degree in nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing, French earned a master's degree through the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at UCSF.
French belongs to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has been honored with a UCSF PRIDE Award.
