Sabrina Fernandez

Dr. Sabrina Fernandez is a pediatrician who provides routine primary care, health maintenance and sick visits for children of all ages. Her interests include immunizations and other kinds of preventive care, and improving both patient care and patient-physician communication.

Fernandez received her medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF, serving as chief resident.

Fernandez serves on the board of the San Francisco Immunization Coalition. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and San Francisco Pediatric Advisory Council.

Fernandez enjoys writing and contributes regularly to the "Healthy Baby/Healthy Child" column in the medical journal Pediatric Annals. She also has a passion for education and enjoys teaching UCSF medical students.
