Sonia Makol, LCSW, MSW

Sonia Makol is a clinical social worker who cares for pediatric patients with digestive, nutritional and liver disorders and those undergoing the liver transplant process. Makol's primary focus lies in mental health, the accessibility of quality health care for all children, and patient advocacy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Makol earned her master's degree in social work with an emphasis in health care at the University of Washington and completed an internship at Seattle Children's Hospital in the Adolescent Medicine and Type 1 Diabetes services.

Makol belongs to the Society for Transplant Social Workers and California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
