Cardiopulmonary Exercise Lab
The Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Exercise Laboratory provides a comprehensive assessment of how a child's heart and lungs respond to the stress of exercise. We do this by testing our pediatric patients' heart and pulmonary (lung) function before, during and after exercise.
The results help our doctors assess your child's current health, determine the best treatment options and evaluate the risk of future problems. Our child-friendly facilities and providers work hard to minimize discomfort and calm kids' fears.
Services we provide include:
- Exercise electrocardiography
- Exercise echocardiography
- Cardiopulmonary exercise testing with expiratory gas analysis
- Exercise testing with central hemodynamic monitoring
- Exercise and pharmacologic perfusion imaging
