A doctor visit or hospital stay can be stressful for children and their families. At UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, we offer an array of services to make your experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. These include support groups, play areas, family lounges, access to schooling for patients in the hospital and their siblings, spiritual care, art and music therapy, and more. Our services are based on the principle of family-centered care, meaning they support not only the needs of our young patients but those of their families.
