Dr. Nicole Ling is a pediatric rheumatologist who specializes in caring for children and adolescents with diseases such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, juvenile dermatomyositis and scleroderma. In addition to patient care, she works with the Benioff Children's Hospital's quality improvement executive committee and is developing quality improvement metrics for outpatient care in pediatric subspecialties at UCSF. She also co-chairs the medication safety subcommittee.

Ling earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, followed by a fellowship in pediatric rheumatology at UCSF.

Ling is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance.
