Allison Libby is a psychologist who provides individual, family and group therapy for children and teens with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders. She has a special interest in exposure-based therapies, which help people overcome certain fears through exposure to the source of the fear in a supervised environment. She also teaches UCSF residents and fellows how to utilize exposure therapy in their patient care.
Libby participates in research on the efficacy of clinical interventions and strategies for preventing provider burnout.
Libby earned her doctor of psychology degree from a program of the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology and Stanford University, the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium.
