Beth Saunders is a dietitian and certified specialist in pediatric nutrition. Her experience includes caring for hospitalized patients, including infants and children with acute or chronic illnesses requiring specialized nutrition and nutrition support therapy, such as tube feeding. In her outpatient clinics, she provides nutrition counseling, education and support to adolescents and young adults; she has particular expertise in eating disorders.
Saunders earned her bachelor's degree in food science and human nutrition at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. She completed her training with a dietetic internship at UCSF.
In her free time, Saunders enjoys exploring San Francisco on foot or escaping the city for a nature retreat.
