Bonnie Taft is a nurse practitioner who specializes in inherited metabolic disorders. She enjoys working with families who are living with chronic illnesses and considers them the true experts and teachers on their conditions. She also works with pediatric patients with chronic illnesses and their families to help these patients successfully transition to making their own health care decisions as adults.

Taft earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Stony Brook University, part of the State University of New York system. She earned a master's degree in nursing from Boston College.
