Caitlin Kostelec is a physical therapist who cares for patients with conditions including chronic pain, limb length discrepancies and post-concussion syndrome. She has a special interest in working with young dancers, gymnasts, cheerleaders and swimmers. She leads UCSF's program in dance medicine, which focuses on treating and preventing common dance injuries.

Kostelec completed her doctor of physical therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She is a certified specialist in manual therapy techniques, which include myofascial release, mobilization and manipulation. She's also a certified sports specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Outside of work, Kostelec enjoys singing, running, doing triathlons, baking, working in her garden, and spending time with her husband and son.
