Dr. Angel Nip is a pediatric endocrinologist who cares for children and adolescents with diabetes and other hormonal conditions, including thyroid disorders, growth disorders, puberty disorders and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She has a special interest in treating patients with Turner syndrome.

In her research, Nip looks at the psychological and social effects of diabetes on young children and adolescents, which can include depression and disordered eating. She is also involved in initiatives to improve the quality of patient care.

Nip earned her medical degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Seattle Children's Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Washington School of Medicine.
