Chase T.M. Anderson is a psychiatrist who cares for children and adolescents. His work centers on how stress related to belonging to a marginalized group impacts the mental health of youths. He also focuses on destigmatizing mental illness and helping patients become their authentic selves through embracing all facets of their identities. He serves as medical director of the Muses Program for Minoritized Youth, which supports young people who are socially, politically and economically marginalized due to systemic power imbalances.

Anderson's care is informed by their personal history of depression. They counsel and partner with youths experiencing mental illness to help them love themselves and find a path to achieving their dreams.

Anderson completed undergraduate degrees in chemistry and biological engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before earning his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed a residency in adult psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UCSF.
