About me

Dr. Daniel Soulsby is a pediatric rheumatologist who cares for children with rheumatic diseases, such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and lupus.

In his research, Soulsby studies how social determinants of health (economic, environmental and other nonmedical factors that impact individual wellness) affect patient outcomes, as well as other health disparities related to pediatric rheumatic diseases.

Soulsby earned his medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine. At UCSF, he completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric rheumatology.
