About me

Dr. David Panek cares for children with a variety of sleep disorders, including sleep-related breathing problems, such as obstructive sleep apnea; insomnia; disorders of hypersomnolence (excessive sleepiness), such as narcolepsy; circadian rhythm disorders (disruptions to the body's sleep-wake cycles), parasomnias (abnormal behaviors while sleeping), such as night terrors; and sleep-related movement disorders, such as restless legs syndrome.

Panek earned his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Vermont Children's Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Seattle Children's Hospital and a fellowship in sleep medicine at Stanford Sleep Medicine Center. He also completed a graduate certificate in maternal and child health at the University of Washington.
