Dr. Karen Ku is a pediatrician who seeks to optimize children's health through integrative medicine, an approach that combines conventional treatments with complementary therapies. Her interests include addressing lifestyle and nutrition factors to aid in disease prevention. She is dedicated to providing each of her patients with personalized care, informed by her diverse medical background and personal experiences with chronic conditions.

Ku earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF and Massachusetts General Hospital, and a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona.

Ku has more than 20 years of experience as a private practice pediatrician in Cincinnati, Seattle and Northern Virginia. She is happy to be back in the Bay Area.
