Dr. Lauren Sanchez is an allergist and immunologist who cares for children and adolescents undergoing evaluation for allergic diseases and immunodeficiencies. Her special interests and subjects of her research include the long-term outcomes of patients with immunodeficiency and the transition of young patients with these disorders from pediatric to adult care.
Sanchez earned her medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at UCSF.
In her free time, Sanchez enjoys exploring parks and playgrounds with her husband and toddler son, watching competitive cooking shows, and sampling boba tea from shops all around the Bay Area.
