Dr. Lawrence Chang is an emergency medicine doctor who cares for children when they need immediate attention for everything from common illnesses to life-threatening conditions.

In his research, Chang focuses on health disparities related to housing instability, neighborhood environments and community violence. His mission is to advance policy interventions that will address societal inequities impacting the health of children and families.

Chang earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Boston Children's Hospital.
