Dr. Mahnoosh Nik-Ahd is a pediatric emergency medicine doctor who cares for seriously ill and injured children.

Nik-Ahd's research focuses on the intersection of medical education and psychology. She uses cognitive science (the study of the mind) to transform the inner experiences of trainees and faculty with the goal of reducing physician burnout.

Nik-Ahd earned her medical degree and master of public health degree with a focus on epidemiology and biostatistics at Oregon Health & Science University. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Stanford University and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at UCSF.
