Dr. Nadia Roessler De Angulo is a pediatric hospitalist who cares for newborns in the nursery as well as infants, children and adolescents hospitalized for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She also provides pain management consultations and moderate sedation when needed for children in the hospital.
In research, Roessler De Angulo focuses on the quality and safety of patient care and on pain management in hospitalized children.
Roessler De Angulo earned her medical degree at Faculté de Médecine Lyon-Est in Lyon, France. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Faculté de Médecine Henri Warembourg in Lille, France, followed by a second pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine, part of the State University of New York system. She completed a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at UCSF.
Roessler De Angulo is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a founding member of the pediatric pain committee at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She is especially interested in standardizing and optimizing pain management for hospitalized children, with a focus on safe medication use.
