Roshelle Chan

Dr. Roshelle Chan is a family doctor who is passionate about preventive medicine, women's health, contraceptive care and improving community health through education. A focus of her practice is providing comprehensive management of acute and chronic conditions. Having many years of involvement with various service organizations and free health clinics, she is a strong advocate for LGBTQ+, immigrant and minority communities. She also has a special interest in sexual health issues.

Chan earned her medical degree at the University of California, Davis. She completed a residency in family medicine at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. During her training, she mentored premedical students, organized community events to increase diabetes and cervical cancer screening among underserved patient populations, and promoted diversity and inclusion in clinical settings and medicine.

As a San Francisco native, Chan feels honored to give back to her childhood community, which motivated and inspired her path in medicine.
