Pronouns: She | Her | Hers

Dr. Shreya Agarwal is a hematologist who cares for children and young adults with non-malignant blood disorders. She has a particular focus on patients with bleeding and clotting disorders.

In recent years, blood clots have significantly increased among hospitalized children, and are often underdiagnosed, which drives Agarwal's research. She aims to identify people at a high risk of blood clots and develop strategies to prevent and minimize their long-term effects. Her current focus is examining the prevalence and risk factors for blood clots in people with inherited bleeding disorders. Her work has been recognized with several research grants and awards.

Agarwal earned her medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in hemostasis and thrombosis at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
