Haley Koning is a nurse who serves as case manager for UCSF's pain, palliative care and integrative medicine clinics in the East Bay. She is particularly interested in holistic patient care that combines traditional Western medicine with complementary therapies.
Koning earned her master's degree in nursing at Grand Canyon University and her doctor of nursing practice degree from Samuel Merritt University.
Koning is passionate about serving and supporting her local community. She and her family are an approved resource family in the foster care system and are also involved in helping find solutions to systemic issues that affect local neighborhoods, such as social injustice, including racial inequities, and homelessness.
