Mother, dog lover and avid reader

Jessica Olivero is an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner who cares for patients with urological conditions. She specializes in bowel and bladder dysfunction (including incontinence and constipation), urinary tract infections and neurogenic bladder (nerve problems affecting the bladder). In her daily practice, she enjoys educating children and families about their diagnoses and ensuring all their questions are answered. Olivero earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Dominican University of California and her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She has been with UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland since 2013, initially as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit, then as a nurse practitioner providing care in both the clinic and the hospital for kids with complex medical needs.
