Laura Quill is a pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for children with blood disorders, including sickle cell anemia and thalassemia. As a member of a comprehensive care team, she provides physical examinations and assessments, helps coordinate treatments, and assists with patient education and follow-up visits.

Quill earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Boston College and a master's degree at Columbia University, training in the pediatric primary care nursing program.

Quill gives educational lectures and helps train new nursing staff, and is a mentor in the UCSF Master's Entry Program in Nursing.
