Lisa M. Johnson is a psychologist who provides therapy for children, young adults and their families. She has a particular interest in caring for patients who have experienced psychological trauma.
Johnson earned her doctorate in clinical-community psychology from the University of South Carolina. She is certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and has trained extensively in dialectical behavior therapy (a form of CBT that helps patients develop skills to address extreme emotions and harmful behaviors).
Johnson is a member of the Association of Black Psychologists and Benioff Children's Hospital Black Caucus Oakland.
