Lori D. Fineman

Nurse

Lori Fineman is a nurse who cares for infants in pediatric cardiac intensive care and helps them transition home from the hospital. She oversees inpatient nurses at the Pediatric Heart Center and works closely with a team representing various specialties to decrease complications and improve care. She is active in program development within the hospital as well as in mentoring and educating other nurses.

Fineman earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Oregon Health & Science University and her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She is a co-chair of the cardiac GRAND (Growth And NeuroDevelopment) Program, which seeks to optimize care for infants with complex heart defects.
