Shannon Raber is an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner who has worked in pediatric oncology since 2003, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In patient care, her primary interests include supportive care and symptom management for children and young adults with brain tumors. Her research interests include using telehealth in pediatric neuro-oncology clinics and treating pediatric brain tumors through precision medicine (therapies individualized according to genetic and other information).
Raber earned her master's degree in nursing from the UCSF School of Nursing. She received the UCSF Department of Nursing Award for Excellence in Advanced Practice Nursing in 2015 and is a member of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses.
