Shelley Bull is a pediatric nurse practitioner who cares for children undergoing anesthesia for surgery or diagnostic imaging. Her duties include coordinating care for children with complex needs so as to create the safest possible conditions for their anesthesia. She enjoys educating patients and families about how to prepare for anesthesia, including what they need to know about safety and pain management. She also works as an on-call pediatric sexual assault forensic examiner.

Bull earned her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

When not caring for patients, Bull enjoys spending time with her two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican hairless dogs), who keep her busy now that her daughter is in college.
