Occupational Therapy Clinic
UCSF's Pediatric Occupational Therapy Clinic specializes in caring for infants with feeding disorders and children with functional problems resulting from delayed or interrupted development. Medical conditions, behavioral issues and many kinds of injuries can interfere with the motor skills a child needs to eat, speak, write, draw or perform other everyday functions. Timely assessment and therapy are essential to helping each child achieve their best – which is the goal of everyone at our clinic.
Our experienced occupational therapists perform thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans based on proven techniques and customized to meet individual needs. They then work closely with families and other caregivers, teaching them ways to assist their children with everyday activities at home, in school and at play.
