Allergy Center
The Pediatric Allergy Center provides treatment for asthma and allergic disorders including allergic rhinitis (hay fever), food and drug allergies, atopic dermatitis (the most common type of eczema), and anaphylaxis (a life-threatening reaction to an allergen).
Our comprehensive services include:
- Skin prick testing for reactivity to foods and environmental aeroallergens
- Drug allergy testing and challenges
- Oral food challenges and early introduction clinics
- Peanut oral immunotherapy
- Eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorder care
- Allergy immunotherapies, including subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) and sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) for allergies to grass pollen and dust mites
- Biologic therapies for allergic conditions such as atopic dermatitis (eczema), allergic asthma and chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)
- Pulmonary function testing
