Pediatric Prepare Clinic

When your child is scheduled for anesthesia, it's important for both of you to be prepared. To make sure your child is ready and help their procedure and recovery go as smoothly as possible, your child will have an appointment with the Pediatric Prepare Clinic. Here, our providers collaborate with the clinicians who will administer your child's anesthesia.

During this visit, a nurse practitioner or a nurse will review your child's medical history and provide information about what to expect on the day of the procedure. In addition to making sure our young patients are medically prepared, we want them to feel comfortable about their upcoming hospital visit and to understand as much as possible with regard to their care.
